چکیده
Paget-Schroetter Syndrome is a rare condition characterized by the thrombosis of axillary and/or subclavian vein due to repetitive activity upper extremity. This effect results in exertion-induced deep venous (DVT) In literature, it has been reported more frequently among adult population. We aimed introduce 15-year-old female patient who suffered an acute DVT left extremity, and her successful treatment using Cleaner thrombectomy device.

Retrograde rotational thrombectomy with the Rotarex® catheter system: treatment option for an acute thrombotic occlusion of a subclavian artery
PURPOSE The Rotarex catheter system is an effective tool for endovascular therapy of acute occluded arteries of the lower extremities, especially for the femoral artery. The authors report the use of the Rotarex catheter system for retrograde percutaneous thrombectomy of an occluded subclavian artery. CASE PRESENTATION A 79-year-old male patient was referred because of acute pain and paleness...
متن کاملSudden Coma from Acute Bilateral M1 Occlusion: Successful Treatment with Mechanical Thrombectomy
We report a case with acute small infarct of the left middle cerebral artery in a 72-year-old man with atrial fibrillation documented by MRI and MR angiography. One hour later, he lost consciousness and CT with CT angiography revealed bilateral hyperdense middle cerebral arteries due to occlusion of the M1 segments. Mechanical thrombectomy of the right middle cerebral artery was successfully pe...
متن کاملLong-term outcome of transfemoral thrombectomy in patients with acute iliofemoral vein thrombosis
Abstract Background: The optimal therapy of acute iliofemoral venous thrombosis is still a matter of debate. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the late results of iliofemoral thrombectomy with regard to the prevention of the development of a Post Thrombotic Syndrome (PTS). Methods: During 2000-2003, 18 patients underwent transfemoral venous thrombectomy for acute iliofemoral venous thro...
متن کاملTreatment of acute vertebrobasilar occlusion using thrombectomy with stent retrievers: initial experience with 18 patients.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Acute vertebrobasilar occlusion is an ominous disease with few proved effective treatments. Experience with stent retrievers is scarce and limited to combined therapies (stent retrievers associated with previous intravenous fibrinolysis, intra-arterial thrombolysis, or other mechanical devices). We present our experience with 18 patients treated with direct thrombectomy b...

Objective: We report a rare case of endovascular treatment for acute basilar artery occlusion (BAO) approached via the aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSA). Case Presentation: A 66-year-old woman with atrial fibrillation was admitted for nausea and vomiting. She was progressively losing consciousness. At admission, her National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score was 38. Magnetic...
